Welcome to my online art gallery of original abstract paintings.
On this website, I will present some of my abstract acrylic artwork.

My name is Max Rence. I am a self-taught German abstract painter and I live and work in Leipzig, a city in the Free State of Saxony, Germany.
I was born in the former GDR (German Democratic Republic / East Germany).
I'm an internationally selling artist and my contemporary paintings hang in homes and offices in the USA, UK, Australia, Canada, Spain and other countries.
Art by German artists has become increasingly popular internationally.
And my home town, the eastern German city of Leipzig, is becoming more and more one of the centers of contemporary art beside London, New York and Berlin.
To paint is for me such as an escape. Then I forget the stress and the problems around me.
I love to play and to experiment with the paints, gel mediums, metals, sand and other interesting materials.
As I don't want to affect the fantasy of the viewer, I give my works of art no title.
I paint very spontaneously. During the working process, I immediately put new ideas into action.
Presently I create my pieces of art primarily on hexagonal and triangular gallery wrap canvas.
Each artwork is painted with premium acrylic colours and other media.
The canvas is stretched onto wooden stretcher bars.
The sides are painted and without staples.
You are buying an original work of art which is ready to hang.
The paintings are signed on the front.
