An landscape oil painting by Anne Kullaf.Copyright by Anne Kullaf

This is the first work that I'm presenting on my new .
It's a painting by Anne Kullaf.

Title: Parkway South
Size: 24 in x 48 in
Medium: Oil on canvas

Artist's Statement:
This painting is part of a series that focuses on the urban landscape. I am often asked why I paint traffic and run down areas of the city and its surrounding environs. Traffic moving along a highway or a gridlock in the city contains so many interesting patterns of movement, color, light and repetition that I am compelled to paint what might be considered an ugly landscape by most. I find the rusted colos of industry in stark contrast with the sheen of metal on new cars to be an interesting visual study in texture and motion.

Anne's paintings have been exhibited primarily in and .
