This morning I took this picture in the city center after I visited the shopping mall in the main station.

Recently as I browsed and read at other artblogs, I found this article.
The topic of this blog post are the paintings of artists that studied painting at the Hochschule für Grafik und Buchkunst (Academy of Visual Arts) in Leipzig, Germany.
Currently, most of the artists live and work in my hometown Leipzig.

I created this work two days ago.

In this painting I experimented with goldenrod.

It was the first plant that I used in an artwork.

It's painted in acrylic on an 18cm x 24cm canvas panel.

That's a close-up of the picture in the previous post.

This artwork is the second abstract painting by my son.

He made it directly after his first painting.

But it's painted on a primed HDF panel of a size of 18cm by 24cm.

This painting is the Mother's Day gift for his mom.
